Phonographic Performance License (PPL) -- the new LICENSE

Dear Members,

Public Performance License (PPL) is a legal requirement as per the Copyright Act 1957. A member of QPMPA got a warning letter and the same given hereunder.

If you cannot read it kindly copy the same and paste in Word and enlarge the Word file.

The way out is to remove all the TV sets in your establishment and if you have a Public address system, do not play any music in that.

Drug License for Doctors and their Hospitals

Under Schedule K, of Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, the registered medical practitioners (RMPs) are exempted from taking license from the Drugs Control Department for stocking and dispensing of drugs to their own patients.

The Registered medical practitioner (RMP) is not only exempted from taking Drug License, but from all the items in Chapter IV of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
